Polar-SIM & Nikon AX Dual-modal microscopy system

Dual-modal fusion technology - Polar-SIM polarized SIM super-resolution technology is perfectly combined with the Nikon AX system to achieve the dual advantages of ultra-high resolution and excellent optical sectioning performance.

Professional-grade imaging experience - Equipped with Nikon's advanced optical system, combined with self-developed super-resolution technology, the system provides reliable imaging solutions for biomedical research.

Flexible Scalability – Supports multiple optical accessory upgrades to expand imaging capabilities based on research needs, and to meet evolving experimental requirements.

Integrated super-resolution high-throughput microscopy system

Seamless switching between the two systems - the Polar-SIM polarized SIM super-resolution system and the Nova-SD spinning disc confocal system share the same microscope body, allowing you to freely switch between super-resolution (60 nm) and deep imaging without sample transfer.

Full-scale observation - from nanoscale subcellular structures (mitochondrial crestae, vesicle transport, organelle interactions) to millimeter-scale living samples (zebrafish, nematodes, mycelial networks), covering all spans of life science research.

High-throughput compatible design - multiple imaging modalities, support polarization/fluorescence imaging of multiple types of samples, and adapt to conventional fluorescence imaging consumables (slides, petri dishes) and standard confocal dyes.

Nova-SD Spinning Disc Confocal Microscopy System

High-sensitivity detection - Advanced spinning disc confocal technology enables high-contrast, high-resolution imaging while maintaining high light collection efficiency.

Deep Tissue Imaging – Optimized optical design to penetrate thicker samples and obtain clear images of deep tissue for thick sections and living sample studies.

Multi-channel simultaneous imaging - supports simultaneous imaging of multiple fluorescence channels to observe the distribution and interaction of multiple markers simultaneously.

Polar-SIM Polarized Structured Illumination Super-Resolution Microscopy System

Polarization Super-Resolution Technology - Innovative polarized structured illumination technology achieves ultra-high resolution imaging at 60 nm, while providing sample polarization information, and enriching imaging dimensions.

Fast dynamic imaging – High frame rate imaging capability captures rapidly changing biodynamic processes, providing a powerful tool for live cell research.

Low phototoxicity design – optimized illumination scheme to reduce photobleaching and photodamage for long-term live-cell observation.

Application of polarized structured illumination super-resolution microscopy (Polar-SIM)

Professor Yan Zhang of the IDG McGovern Brain Institute at Peking University used polarization SIM super-resolution microscopy (Polar-SIM) technology to reveal that 180 nm actin-spectrin structure assembled as a side-by-side organization, which corrects the cognitive bias of end-to-end organization, which is caused by insufficient angular resolution in previous models and provides a new basis for structural biology.

Moreover, this result is completely consistent with the assembly relationship of actin-spectrin under cryo-electron microscopy in a research paper titled "Structural basis of membrane skeleton organization in red blood cells" published in the journal Cell in 2023 by Prof. Ning Gao's research group at the School of Life Sciences of Peking University.
